CNN Center

Even if you're not a top news anchor, you can still get in on all of the behind-the-scenes action of TV news making at the world headquarters of the CNN and Headline News Group. As a major downtown Atlanta attraction, the CNN Center invites visitors to go behind the scenes on the “Inside CNN Studio Tour” – offered daily. This highly informative tour includes the Control Room Theater, a look at CNN Español, the workings of the Special Effects Studio and the Main Newsroom. Other key features of the CNN Center include retail shops The Turner Store, the Atlanta Braves Clubhouse plus various eateries and other shopping options. Underground Atlanta
 
Located in the heart of the city is Underground Atlanta. Six city blocks in the heart of downtown Atlanta have been transformed into a spirited marketplace that offers historic guided tours and features Kenny's Alley with 12 spectacular restaurants, more than 100 specialty stores, entertainment emporiums, street-cart merchants, and the newest attraction, Aero Balloon, an adventure ride that rises up to 350 feet above Atlanta's downtown streets. It was later fully restored and is now a tourist location offering a variety of shops, restaurants and activities for everyone to enjoy. The Underground is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Georgia.

Centennial Park

This 21-acre site was one of the most popular spots in the city during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Today, year-round programming featuring concerts, family activities and artists' markets make Centennial Park a gathering place for Atlantans and visitors alike. The park features the world's largest Olympic Ring fountain. It is a 21-acre park, which was built for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Splash in the Fountain of Rings, the world's largest fountain utilizing the Olympic symbol of five interconnecting rings with 25 water jets. You will also see the bricks carved with the names of the people and companies that financially contributed to the building of the park, by purchasing the bricks.  It is now a wonderful park, which contributes to enhance the beauty of this great city.
Buckhead

Buckhead is not only noted for its exquisite homes on rolling, wooded land but also as the ultimate shopping destination in the Southeast. In addition to two elegant malls, Lenox and Phipps, Buckhead is home to fabulous boutiques and spas, art & antique galleries and a host of Atlanta’s best fine dining restaurants. Buckhead is also home to the Georgia Governor's Mansion. The latest fashions and trends can be found around Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood, especially at Lenox Squareand Phipps Plaza. Margaret Mitchell House & Museum

Located in Midtown Atlanta, the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum is the three-story Tudor Revival mansion where author Margaret Mitchell lived and wrote her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “Gone With The Wind”. Tours, a museum and museum shop are offered at the Mitchell House. The tour contains exclusive photographs and exhibits that tell the Margaret Mitchell story beyond “Gone With the Wind”. It starts with "Before Scarlett: Girlhood Writings of Margaret Mitchell" and continues into the house, through her apartment where she wrote “Gone With the Wind”, and finally to the Gone With the Wind Movie Museum. The museum illuminates the making of the movie through original objects, correspondence, and artifacts such as the legendary doorway to Tara. The museum shop offers you an opportunity to shop for unique gifts, souvenirs, and Gone With the Wind collectibles and memorabilia.
